Who is Taekdaerine?
Taekdaerine is a company that operates a Korean restaurant specializing in traditional Korean cuisine, primarily located in the Jongno and Jung-gu area. Our goal is to create a joyful dining atmosphere for customers while ensuring that our staff also enjoys their work. This warm and welcoming space is built by a team that includes young employees in their 30s and seniors over 60, fostering a sense of community.

InsaDodam specializes in bibimbap, blending fresh vegetables sourced directly from the farms, making it a perfect spot for those who prefer vegetarian options. Located in Insadong, we proudly offer signature dishes such as Dodam Bibimbap, Stone Pot Pork Ribs, Water parsley Pancakes, Stir-Fried Octopus, and traditional Makgeolli. We have gained significant popularity not only among local office workers but also among domestic and international tourists.
Located in a cozy little alley in Insadong, InsaDodam welcomes you to enjoy the traditional atmosphere while you eat. We also have a room that’s great for small gatherings, making it a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends.
We limit the sale of bibimbap to lunch hours, from 11 AM to 3 PM, to ensure the highest quality.

Bibimbap is a traditional Korean dish where rice is mixed with various vegetables and a sauce (gochujang or soy sauce).
Korea's unique geography, with its coastal areas, high mountains, and four distinct seasons, has led to the development of a rich culture of vegetable dishes. Bibimbap, which includes blanched vegetables mixed with rice and sauce, was historically known as "goldongban" in the royal palace.

- Rice, used in bibimbap, offers high-quality protein and carbohydrates that are absorbed more effectively compared to wheat, the staple food in Western diets.
- Bibimbap allows you to consume a wide range of foods at once. By combining different ingredients, it enhances nutritional balance—providing what may be lacking and complementing flavors. The variety of vegetables and seasonings in bibimbap helps to supplement the nutritional content that may be lacking in rice.
